Although nothing can really compass with the feeling of flying
a large white plane through clear sky's looking for thermals to
keep you on you way. However on long cold nights (gliders can't
fly at night) or rainy days glider simms can be a fun way of improving
your skills or just practicing wild acrobatic maneuvers.

on a windless site. However very good at teaching powered RC flight.
